Punjab Flood Card Distribution Begins, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has officially launched the Punjab Flood Card Distribution Program to provide financial assistance to flood-affected families across the province.

Speaking at a ceremony in Okara, Maryam Nawaz said that the government of Punjab has taken practical steps instead of “crying for help” to support its people. “We did not beg anyone for aid. We are standing with our people in this difficult time,” she stated.

70% Survey of Flood Victims Completed

The Chief Minister announced that 70% of the survey of flood-affected families has already been completed. She added that the government will not rest until a comprehensive and transparent survey is finalized to ensure that every deserving person receives support.

Rs. 100 Billion Allocated for Flood Victims

Maryam Nawaz revealed that Rs. 100 billion has been allocated for the flood rehabilitation program. She emphasized that the funds will go only to genuine victims, ensuring a corruption-free distribution process. “No one except the victims will receive even a single rupee. I have closed all doors to corruption,” she said.

Flood Card and Check Distribution Begins in 15 Districts

The Chief Minister confirmed that from today, flood-affected families in 15 districts of Punjab will begin receiving financial checks through the Flood Card system. The initiative aims to help families rebuild their homes and livelihoods after the recent floods.
